In many countries in Africa and Asia, the internet is shutdown and people are unable to access it. These countries do this to during political instability, to stop the spread of fake news, and keep people from seeing things that the government doesn't want them to see. In result to this, businesses began to crash, economy shuts down, doctors can't get the medications they need, people can't communicate, money can't be withdrawn, and most people can't accomplish the things that they need to do daily. From July 2015 through June 2016, shutdowns caused global losses of more than $2.4 billion, according to , a research group. I believe that you can't take away the entire internet from people. It takes away the flow of society. If you need to block certain things then do that, but you have to give people freedom to accomplish things, and to do that they need the internet.
