Private Citizens Regarding Digital Data

Some things that the government can do to see encrypted data is incredible.  Some of it can be very helpful, but on the other side can evade people's privacy.  Privacy should be a fundamental right of free people.  Chances are, opening these algorithms and systems could lead to malicious parties getting their hands on it.  In the fourth amendment it states,  protect people’s right “to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, etc. against unreasonable searches and seizures.” Digital property is the same.  Government isn't obeying that.  Yes government could do great things, but in this situation I think that they need to allow freedom to occur and put trust into the people.  You can lock your car and house, shouldn't you be able to lock your phone too?
